After a long time, I am back to the addictive A Word a Week Challenge
Despite tight deadlines at work, I find it hard to ignore this week’s theme because it is irresistible to an ‘arch’itect. Have put in a whole bunch of photos taken on travels in India and abroad, resulting from a quick 10 min glance through my iphoto album! Enjoy the arches of various periods, cultures and from a variety of buildings.

About ramblinginthecity
I am an architect and urban planner, a writer and an aspiring artist. I love expressing myself and feel strongly that cities should have spaces for everyone--rich, poor, young, old, healthy and sick, happy or depressed--we all need to work towards making our cities liveable and lovable communities.
Are these all your pictures?
Yes, Sumant. Every one of them!
Am enjoying your rather impressive website!
awesome pics, Ms Architect. Happy to look the pictures through your lenses:)
Shri shri ‘Arch’itect., lovely arches (that phrase sounds funny. 😛 ). You should add the world famous golden double arches with fries of the visual list as well ;-). I see that you wented to the Barcelonas. I am planning a 3 day trip to the famous city in late Nov-early Dec, and would love to get you feedback on your experience – where did you stay, what modes of transportation? what did you plan ityadi ityadi. Will send an email.
Sure Bharat! I don’t have a pic of the famous Golden Arches incidentally though I could take one. We have a massive new establishment in our neighbourhood. Those arches do not figure in my scheme of things! Barcelona was super fun. Will await your mail 🙂
