Room with the view: Looking out at the Bombay docks from Sewri
The best part about my friend Rachna’s apartment in Mumbai is the view. It looks out at sea past the endearing clutter of Sewri and you see these enormous ships like little dots in the distance. The less I say the better, for here are the various moods of the sea from Rachna’s living room balcony! Udai, who spent a week with her all by himself is vouching for the restorative powers of this view, which he clearly enjoyed to the fullest!

Wow!
awesome ya. Mumbai such a soulful city:)
Hey, thank you for this! : )
Tell me what fascinated you about that under-construction tower? Love the little details you (or Udai?) caught…. the highway cutting through, the roads lit yellow making the organic look organised, the brightly lit market street looking pedestrianized (is it near a station in the evening? ….bcs most roads feel pedestrianized then 🙂 )
The tower is just there and has been under construction forever! The streets in this area are largely overrun by pedestrians as it is a very middle income area. I shot these and thank you looking so closely 🙂
Frm where u shoot Ashoka gardens or dosti..?
These shots are taken from dosti itself.
